Basildon Locksmiths was opened at this address in 1985 by the present owners Richard and Sarah Yardley.  Prior to this the husband and wife team ran a successful Security Centre based at 58 High Street, Wickford, Essex.
The move to Orion Court was prompted by the need for more storage and parking spaces.
 

As well as a trade counter, two offices and a large workshop facility housing more than thirty key cutting machines, the original 1150 square foot factory unit now has a mezzanine floor giving enough additional first floor space to accomodate the most comprehensive stock of locks, keys and hardware in the area.
